User Defined Fields
What if I want to link all my Chardonnays between $15-30 into a group for analysis? What if I wanted to look at all the accounts that bought three different products as a target list for a new brand? You can create these reports and many more by creating a user defined group.
Popular Report Types
- Gross profit dollars and percent gross profit: are the keys to your business so you better have some good reporting to know where you are versus plan
- Depletion allowance detail: the business is driven by these allowances so the reporting of where allowances were applied and how much is crucial to gross profit
- Accounts Sold - Who bought this brand and when? Salespeople and suppliers are always asking for these lists and you will have them at your fingertips
- Accounts Unsold - Exception reporting is easy to setup. Unsold reports show you where you opportunities are for each brand.
- Unique Accounts - How many accounts have bought this brand in the last three months? We can provide the summary across brands and if you need the accounts names you can go to the accounts sold reporting
Supplier Limited Access
Of course suppliers can have access to monthly depletions and accounts sold for their brands. It is part of the package and there are no extra licensing fees once it is setup.
Speed
None of the reporting is useable unless it is fast. Users do not have the patience for reports that run for hours or never come back. The software is built with speed and accuracy as its primary objectives.
Messaging
Included in PocketAdvantage™ and AdvantageEIS™ is the ability to send messages to the sales force. Messages can be sent company wide, to a sales division, team or specific sales person.
- Urgent Messages are delivered via a pop up window and have to be reviewed by the sales person before they write their next order. Wholesalers use this feature in the following ways
- To alert the sales person when a credit issue is preventing an order to be delivered. For example, a message may say “Get a check the customer is over their credit limit”
- To alert the sale force when a key item has been received and is ready for order to be submitted. “The 2003 vintage of Chateau St Dave has been received start writing orders"
- To remind the sales force about an upcoming meeting. "The sales meeting has been changed to Friday at 9:30am”
- Pop Up Messages are used as account specific reminders such as, reset the back bar or setup displays for our new brand
- Automated System Messaging is the most powerful when used correctly. By linking to Visual World rules, messages can be setup and automatically pushed regarding past due customers or important products being received.
Surveys
Demand for targeted store level information is growing very fast within the industry because there are so many key sales drivers that can only be measured in person. PocketAdvantage™ and AdvantageEIS™ will enable you to perform a variety of surveys types:
- Strategic - Your sales people are in your customer stores every week. What information do you need to know to drive your business?
- Demographic - How many white table clothes restaurants are there in Chicago? What type of consumers do my target customers attract?
- Competitive - How is my shelf pricing or wine list placement versus my key competitor for a brand or product?
Surveys can be done either ongoing or one time only. When you setup a survey you can select optional or mandatory as well as target the accounts or sales reps for each survey.
